NO NEWS IS GOOD NEWS?

So, we are still waiting on 2 churches to decide about making Jay their new YM. This is really getting funny. The kids start school in 4 weeks. So, I am going out on a limb and guessing that they will all be attending good old L.I.S.D. again this year. I highly doubt that either of those congregations will be hiring any time soon.
I just realized that this will be the first school year, in Lubbock, during which Jay won't be attending SIBI. He isn't a student anymore! WOW! I like that. He has a full time job framing houses with a contractor here in Lubbock. He really likes it and the money is good. Not great, but good. I am waiting on Edward Jones to let me know if I will be hired full-time instead of the part time on-call work I've done for them the past 4 years.

We visited Austin on Saturday in Ft. Worth. He is looking pale and tired. He is cranky and unhappy due to the chemo treatments, but the doctor gave them good news on Monday. Austin won't have to have shots in his little legs anymore. That means the chemo is working. Praise God. Please keep them in your prayers.
I'm off to make dinner. HUGS! M
