Well, we are a week away from the beginning of the new school year.
Brady is still in Levelland attending South Plains, Brittany will be a senior at Henrietta High, Breanna will be in the 7th grade at Henrietta Jr. High and Joshua will be starting 4th grade at Henrietta Elementary.
Jay has started framing with Larry Holding when he isn't wrapped up in Youth Ministry at our church. I am still planning to sub this year at all 3 campuses in Henrietta and also continue to work for Edward Jones part time.
We are glad to be home as we were in Arizona for a week visiting Jay's dad and family. It was such a nice trip that we hated to come home, but life must resume.
We are waiting on news from a church in Midland who called Jay 2-3 weeks ago requesting his resume. It seems they would like to hire him FULL-TIME for their youth minister. I am not quite sure how I feel about that yet, but it's sure nice to be wanted.
I am looking forward to this new year of school and all the things that go along with it. I just hope we know where we are going to be by Christmas.
