THE SEARCH CONTINUES
Jay & I graduated from Sunset International Bible Institute on Saturday morning, May 21st. Our parents came to watch us graduate and it was a sweet milestone for us. My younger brother Brice also came to visit. We had a terrific weekend and getting to share it with our family was special for both of us.
We are presently waiting to hear back from 3 different Youth Ministry positions that Jay has applied for. Two are in the Texas Hill Country and one is in Colorado. We are prayerfully waiting for a response. This is one of those tests in patience, I think.
Jay is back home in Henrietta this week, building some houses with his old crew and trying to rest a little before he heads off to work. Building houses is not what I consider rest. . . .
Joshua is presently recovering from Strep Throat. He missed school yesterday, but happily headed off to resume his first grade duties this morning.
Brady is preparing to travel to Austin to compete in the State Solo and Ensemble Contest this weekend. He will perform with two different groups and he is really pumped about the whole thing. It is his first trip to compete at the state level. The competition is held on the UT Campus, so it will be nice to revisit UT.
Brittany is preparing to work at Covenant this summer and Breanna is looking forward to some free time to catch up on her trips to the library.
So, we are all just patiently waiting for some news around here. I will update again as soon as I know something. HAPPY MEMORIAL DAY!
